2019 CIVIL 3D ICONS

I click on my bd icon and it says it must be called within another command, also when I type _bd it works but I don't see my line work? just happened any opinion  matters. Thanks in advance, Bill

As far as the BD icon, just start either the line command or the Pline command then select the icon.

If you use Create Line by Bearing. It will start the Line for you.
