After updating to Civil3D 2018.2, the PVI and PVC-PVT symbols for the profile do not get clipped at the extents of the profile view. If the drawing is opened with the Civil3D 2018.1 update installed, everything is fine.
After installing the Civil3D 2018.2 update, you can see the PI symbols displaying outside the split view located at station 718+00 rather than being clipped at the profile view extent.

This looks like the same issue that was posted about last month (with no solution to date). https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-civil-3d-forum/pvi-markers-showing-up-outside-the-profile-vie...

I’ve just posted in the thread that @KMercier_C3D posted. Same applies here. I will try and raise with Civil3D dev team this week as I’m with them all week
There is now a beta fix for this issue in the Autodesk Beta forum. On customer test so far and I will Test when back in the UK next week.
Once tested By a few people it will be released. Thanks to @dsimeone and @TimYarris for speeding this through
I find it unbelievable that this still wasn't fixed with the recent 2018.3 Update.
There is a fix located at http://help.autodesk.com/view/CIV3D/2018/ENU/index.html?caas=caas%2Fsfdcarticles%2Fsfdcarticles%2FMa...
Hope this helps!
