I've been using UDP's added to Cogo points to keep track of additional Survey data in my drawings. I would often enter it via customized Quick Properties panel. (Acad 2020). We just upgraded to Acad 2022 and now I can no longer customize the Quick Panel to display or enter UDP data for cogo points. It shows the same options at the CUI, but the box no longer displays them.

Is this a "bug" or a "feature"?

We also can't seem to access Cogo Point UDP's in project explorer, which is a big bummer.

And... tool palettes don't have a way to store different column settings.

What do you generally use UDP on cogo points for? I have a bunch of ideas, but also looking for ideas (mostly survey work related, some civil)

I've never tried to add the UDP's to the QP menu, not have  use Project Explorer, so I'm no help with those items.

I can give you my thoughts on this...using the Sincpac-C3D add-on package's Dynamic Linking I can add Station, Offset, Alignment Name, Surface Elevation, Cut/Fill values, & Profile Elevation. These can all be displayed in the DisplayPoints tool. For non-linked points, UDPs may be edited in the DisplayPoints tool.

Thanks! This looks like a fantastic package , but the type of data I need to keep is very different. It has to do with survey monumentation, and keeping notes regarding legal standing of certain lines and points, along with ultimately hyperlinks to pdf documentation would be good. Lot of it is document and information management of data which doesn't come from Civil design side of things.
I am hoping ultimately I can get it to interact with ESRI Parcel Fabric on some level. I realize I will eventually need a programmer to accomplish all of it.
Right now I'm experimenting to see if making use of UDP is the way to go. Seems like it might be.
Thank For your help!!!
