Configuring AutoCAD Civil 3D. I loaded a few toolbars from mapclassic.cuix and the images, 'poof', are clouds with question marks. My .cuix files are in located in C:\Document and Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD Map 3D 2010\R18.0\enu\Support. Not sure why this happened. Not sure where the .bmp files are located.

Has anyone encountered this issue loading toolbars?

I had the same problem with C3D 2009. The odd part was that only a few icons within a standard toolbar were lost and replaced by clouds. Are some of the icons stored in a different place?

Anyway I never did get a solution from the forum.

We are now on 2010.

Oh yeah, I had failed to mention the version I am using. (>.<)
Yes, it shows up on toolbars that I insert. Not sure where the location of the .bmps are.

The .bmp's are stored internally and not directly available, but you can
open and load individual ones while in the CUI and save to a folder. This
allows you to use them in other Buttons. At least that is what I do.

That's a good idea. I think I will do that. Using 2010 Civil 3D.

There's an additional directory "Custom Icon Location" specified in the preferences under customisation files. I'm guessing that if you store them there the application will always find them and it will make migration and management easier.

Thank you Mike. I will take a look into it today. Sorry for the late reply. I was doing a lot of work yesterday.

Going to post a new thread later on dealing with CD3 and Dell Precision T5400 build. Well the one I have.
Later on today, I have to call my I.T. dept. to troubleshoot the issues my cad partner and I are having.

I appreciate everyones time and help again. It is valued.
