Label Components on Separate Layers

Has anyone figured out a way to assign separate layers to the different label components?  Is it possible to create blocks with text fields or attributes to call similar data as the Description Keys?  I need to be able to export my finished drawing to AutoCAD and my label components to be on separate layers. I'm currently using Civil 3D 2011.

How about in New Expressions....is it possible to push certain components to a specific layer?  Eagle Point allows each label component to be on it's own layer, Civil 3D has to be able to do this.

No, there is no provision in Civil 3D for having individual label components on different layers.

If you have a client that wants old-style point blocks, the best approach is to dump all your Cogo Points out as a CSV file, and let your client import the CSV file into whatever software they are using.

There's also the ConvertPointsToSDSKPoints command (shown as CreateBlocksFromCOGOPoints on the Modify Points Ribbon Tab).
