Keyboard shortcut to left click mouse

Is it possible to set up a custom shortcut on my keyboard that works like left clicking on my mouse?  I'd like to hold down Ctrl and use the `~ key just like I would left click.  Thanks for your time.

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the forums!

In Civil 3D you can't set up a keyboard shortcut for the left mouse click. What you can do however is use Mouse Keys which will make it so you can do a left mouse clock using the "/" key. You can find out more about Mouse Keys HERE.

Hi.
I think it should be possible to have a keyboard shortcut for the left mouse click in Civil 3D. I have to make a very long 3D Polyline that I create with clicking on thousand endpoints along a Polyface Mesh object. My left index finger is really shaken now...
I tried activating the Microsoft Mouse Keys, but I was not able to find a key on my keyboard that activate the left mouse click.

Have you looked into "grread" ?
