GETFILED behavior

I've been using this code for a long time but since I've begun using "AutoCAD C3D" and "C3D as AutoCAD" its behavior has been annoying me.  The symbol foundfile contains a complete file specification, path and filename, if it is not nil.  That part of GETFILED still works fine.

The problem is if I choose another file from the list of files in the resulting file dialog it will ignore my choice and reset the focus to whatever is stored in the symbol foundfile even if that file is several pages away from my selection.  It happens even if I double-click on the different file.  It is especially annoying because the double click is recognized as applying to the file specified by foundfile and it will open, or attach, or overlay, or do whatever file operation I am trying to do but to foundfile and not what I selected.  This only happens the first time I select a different file.  I try to remember to make a bogus selection first but often I navigate up or down the list first and then have to do it again after the focus is reset.  Sometimes I still navigate and double-click and then the wrong file is used for my operation. Arrrrrgggghhh!

I'm suspecting that Autodesk made a small change to its file dialog or to GETFILED that is forcing this to happen or maybe it is a Windows 7 x64 issue.  It is causing a lot of lost time and frustration in undoing the operation or opening the correct file.

Does anyone know how to prevent this undesirable behavior in the AutoCAD file dialog?

(GETFILED
  (STRCAT "Open "
    (IF client_name client_name "")
    (IF project_name
      (STRCAT
        (IF client_name " " "")
        project_name " "
      )
      ""
    )
    "Drawing"
  ) ;_ end of STRCAT
  (IF foundfile
    foundfile
    ""
  ) ;_ end of if
  "dwg;dxf;dwt"

Eureka! DosLib's DOS_GETFILENAV function is a perfect replacement for GETFILED (it uses exactly the same arguments) and it does not reset my focus! Problem solved.
