Dynamic text linked to profile

I have created some mText objects, taking the elevation from a profile, after selecting a station along the alignment. The text shows the result of some calculation which is based on the elevation from the profile.  This text is static, once it's created. Is there any way I can make the text ' dynamic'  so that it updates if I make changes in the profile?

Why not use ProfileView Labels? You can get the elevation from the profile and perform any calculations needed using expressions. To get the label to move with the profile you could use the DLLabels tool in the Sincpac to link the label to the profile.

Hello Jeff. I needed some labels in the plan view of some corridors, labels from feature lines or alignments just did not work as we wanted so I was trying to calculate some 'labels' based on the corridor's alignment. It worked well but they are static and I was trying to find a way to make them dynamic.

I'm attaching one corridor. See the beginning of the alignment, I added some dummy texts. We have along the way some divisions for plots, they are numbered. We need the elevation at the middle of each of those plots. Extracting the feature lines works more or less, we can get the elevations but not at the exact points we need. Adding with cogo points is the quickest way but they are created as static points, so they would not update if we need to change the profile of the corridor. The feature lines from which we need the elevation are "Solar"  and "ADOQUIN".

It seems to me that a Surface Spot Elevation label would do this.

Thank you, I did not know about that object. I can use that instead of the mtexts I was using. Thanks.
