where to find 'Quality' in results for multiphase simulations?

Hello everyone,

I am searching for Quality in results but unable to find it. but this is very important criteria to judge or analyse the situation. can anyone please tell me where can I find this Quality.

Suppose I want to see the quality of the fluid at outlet then which tool I should use to find that?

thanks in advance,

regards,

Akshay Kumar

Hi @Mike.Grau

thank you for your response!

the fluid is entering with hot temp. with quality[1], but if I want to see what is the quality of fluid at outlet then how can I see that?

I have attached my file.

Hi Akshay,

You only need to plot the 'Scalar' at the outlet to obtain the Steam Quality, should be quite simple 🙂

I would do it with a cut-plane and the bulk calculator for a value right across the outlet.

Shout if you need any guidance doing so.

Check out the attached file as one that is set up properly, might be of use! (Yup, you will see that it is quite old...).

Hope that helps,

Jon
