Problem with Solver.

I can't run flow simulation around car model because CFD crashes with "The analysis has stopped because the solver has exited unexpectedly."
There are some curiosities:

  1. Solver Computers shows:  "MyComputer - 0 cores"
  2. There are no CFDSolver.exe process in the task manager.

UPD CFD shows "The Analysis..." massage then I try to generate mesh.

I have a few comments at least:

  1. Don't run with a flow rate at both ends (this is over constrained). Use a P=0 at the outlet
  2. Run a 1/2 model - no need to run the entire car
  3. Suppress the car from the mesh
  4. I found a manual mesh to work but an Auto mesh seemed to be taking ages (I presume because of the small surface you have - see Surface Mesh Diagnostics)
    1. I also used a mesh refinement region around the car (probably needs more mesh still but this is a nice quick check)
  5. Check the direction of your flow too (it was being pulled out of the inlet)

Hope that helps,

Jon
