HEAT TRANSFER TRANSIENT

Hi, I need to perform a simulation of water cooling by air effect; the water is in a bottle and the air surrounds it.
I would like to know how I find the time when the water decreases its temperature by 15 ° C.

Thank you

Hello!

You could do this pretty quickly if you sketch it up in 2D and use an axisymmetric analysis.

It would run in minutes.

Start with the model like it is here.

Do you even need to model the air or could you assume a film coefficient on the walls of the bottle instead? Even faster 😉

How much do you know about CFD? I am not sure how much guidance to provide.

Did you already run through our tutorial models?

Thanks,

Jon

Hello, I would like to obtain a manual with which I can support in this transient heat transfer analysis, I would expect support from you.

Thank you very much.

Have you already run through our tutorial models from the help? This is a good starting point, CFD is a big topic.

There is also a Knowledge Network to search 🙂

Otherwise, post here when you have specific questions and we will be here to guide you.

Thanks,

Jon
