Custom Equation Boundary Condition

Hi All--is it possible to write a custom equation as a boundary condition, ex. a pressure that has an associated compliance (as more blood flows through boundary, the pressure increases accordingly)? I have looked into boundary conditions but it appears to me as if they are all predefined and you need to just specify co-efficients. Thanks!

Hello @Anonymous ,

Yes, you can.  Simply choose a transient mode and select the appropriate time curve as it displayed below :

Unfortunately you can not introduce a dependency with flow rate on your Pressure BC.

What you can do, however, is to apply two transient BC (1 pressure, 1 flow rate) and give them the same magnitude and the same magnitude variation over time. I thing it will simulate the effect that you want.
Hope it helps

Here, two quick example of a time varying pressure and velocity BC
