CFD not running fast

I just bought a new system for 3D modelling and analysis. The specs are Intel i5 13400f, Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050 and 32gb DDR5 RAM. Even with this system the CFD is running very slowly, around 1 iteration per minute.

For comparison, I was getting a speed of around 1 iteration per 20 seconds on my laptop which had Ryzen 5500U, Integrated Radeon Graphics and 24gb DDR4 RAM.

I also tried using the CFDConfig application, but it didn't work.

The highlighted one is the solver computer I'm using. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi @Eshaan_Jain 

That Intel processor only has 6 cores that are useful (for CFD), not 10. This is why the analysis is running slowly. Please change the number of cores on the Solver Computers and Configurations to 6 cores.

• See the Intel website Intel® Core™ i5-13400F Processor and note that there are only 6 "Performance Cores". The "Efficient Cores" are not efficient for solving on CFD.
