CFD Flex and CFD (non-cloud version) not compatible?

In the past I have been able to switch open a model in either the FLex version of CFD or the standalone/networked version without issue.

Now it seems that when I create a file in one version, it fails to open in the other. Is this the case or am I experienceing a different issue?

I am seeing this for Sim Mechanical as well.

Hi,

They should be entirely compatible, yes. As far as I know, the interface is totally identical, it is only the solver that changes.

Are you running CFD 2016 SP1?

Thanks,

Jon
