About Thermal Contact Resistance

What is the default thermal contact resistance between two aluminum plates when I don't assign any surface material between them? Does autodesk CFD regards these two plates as one big plates?

Hi @Anonymous 

 

By defalut there is no contact resistance between two solids in CFD.

You will have to define with a surface material.

Hi Benoit,

 

Thanks for the answer. The "surface material" you mentioned is to assign "contact resistance" material to a surface, right?
