Where should we start?

Hi

Other than coordinating tasks, the project needs progressive documenting, with daily/weekly as built dwg drawings and photos. In Bim360, where should we start to suit this purpose, pls?

I think Navisworks doesn't do any documenting?

Thank you.

Hi Bob,

  • As one option, what you could do is always create new folders for each day or week, and then upload your files into those to keep all together.

  • I've also reached out to another colleague to see if he has any other ideas from the BIM 360 Docs side of things, but in the mean time, feel free to post the same question there in that BIM 360 Docs Forum too.

  • Below is what i heard from my colleague regarding the above question,
  • Yes, docs can version files (so can BIM360 Team) if they need progressive documentation.  Docs can also do permissions on folders.  It extracts PDF for sheets if they need those separated as well. (BIM360 Docs link HERE)

Thanks,
