Linking one team to another

We have an issue where there is a consulting team that has uploaded a model , tenant improvement, into a separate team folder and we would like to link this team and its contents with our shell and core model under our primary team.

When logging into BIM 360 through Revit their folder is not visible.

Our thought is to simply request that they join our team/project. However, since there is always more than one way to do things with Autodesk the thought would be the same in A360.

Can anyone assist?

Thanks

R. Stewart~

Hi,

Thank you for posting your questions.

What I understand is that you want to collaborate with another Team that has it's own BIM 360 Team hub (Hub 1), am I correct?

I think it would be easiest to share the project on one hub (Hub 1) with all the needed members in the other hub (Hub 2/MAIN hub).

Alternatively, you can transfer the project to the Main hub and then invite all members from Hub 1.

From the licensing/money point of view these options are identical and have no associated extra costs, as each user can always rely on the license of its 'home' hub.

There is no Hub/Subhub structure at the moment that you could use.

Thank you for your response.
How would I go about transferring the project from one HUB to another?

Hi,

There's a Transfer option available, at the very right of each project.

Please keep in mind that the project will dissappear in the original Hub.

Oh... someone just whispered in my ear that, in case you've already enabled Collaboration for Revit on the project, you can no longer transfer it.

That's important to know I guess.

Good luck!
