View BIM 360 issues and markups on Revit 2019

Using the BIM 360 "Issues" -
I assign issues to a consultant/planner for them to fix in their Revit models, though there is no way to view the issues on Revit. Therefore they must find the assigned issue in their model manually. Is there any way to make some magic happen and display BIM 360 issues on a Revit model?

Thanks

Hi, any updates on this?

I can’t understand how other developers can do this by using the BIM360 platform but Autodesk can’t provide this feature through their own softwares...

thanks for your response

Have you checked the navisworks version  of BIM 360 Issues? This will help bridge your gap between cloud and desktop. From Navisworks to Revit you might have more tools to choose from.

highly requested feature within our work place.

currently our work around is to click in the bim 360 model, get element id, in revit use element ID search tool to find element.

works but very tedious

Hi Zabubakar,
Could you please elaborate on this?
How can it be done?

This whole workflow is pointless without the ability to see the markups in revit

I'm pleased to announce the release of the Revit Issue Add-in for Revit 2020 & Revit 2021 which provide the feature to integrate and visualize BIM 360 issues in Revit 2020 & 2021.

Hi There Marco Ramolla,

We are so happy to see this arrive!

Although I don't know if it's possible yet, or even a subject brought up at a fact but we have tried out the beta add-in and came accross the need of needing to propagate issues created in a federated file in either BIM360 Docs or Coordinate or even Navisworks to the "main" linked revit files.

Let me explain; at the moment if I create an issue in a rvt federated file (let's say called) "A" with rvt links (called) "B" & "C", the issue is a problem with wall height from file "B".

When going to Revit and asking to see isssues it will not show that issue created in federated file "A". Meaning I would have to open the rvt federated file in Revit to see the issue and then open the rvt file "B" to compare and then make changes asked from issue.

As for another example we use Design Collaboration, when creating a package and publishing the files it generates a new file, this file is linked into other stakeholders models, as is also linked to the BIM360 Coordinate space. All clash issues are generated on the files that have been published through the BIM360 Design Collaboration timeline ==> these files are not the "main" model file of each stakeholder. Meaning that no issue will actually show up in those rvt files...Remeber, these files are the only files stakeholders actually work in, not those published through Design Collaboration (who are a copy of the published file).

To solve this it would great to be able to view and propagate all project model issues no matter the file opened.

Would this be possible in the near future?

Many thanks and best regards

Any progress on this issue? Now, it does not work for us. Gr. Renzo

This Issue add-in is great...but how can I push markups made on a document in BIM 360 to the Revit model and make it a seamless workflow from the project to getting markups and back into the project for the design team to complete?
