After creating an RFI revision, is it possible to prevent its original number to be reused again?
Here is an example of the scenario that I am trying to avoid:
- An RFI ID 1000 is closed.
- The same RFI is reopened with the "Create revision" option, and renamed to 1000.1
- Someone else comes to the same project and creates a new RFI (completely unrelated to the previous one) and uses the ID 1000, which is available because the previous RFI ID is now 1000.1. So you end up with two RFIs (1000 and 1000.1) completely unrelated, but that look somehow an original RFI and its revised version.
Is there a known way to prevent this?
