Hi!
I created 2 materials using the same texture. One has the brick horizontal and the other vertical. In revit, it shows up correctly, but the web viewer shows them running vertically. Is this a know bug? I have tried using duplicated materials, and also creating a new materials from scratch based on a different assets. I would appreciate any kind of help.
I posted an example of the output, too.
Thanks,
Xavier
Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you for your post! My name is Bogdan and I am with Autodesk Technical Support.
Would it be possible for you to share a sample from your file with me? Maybe send me a download link in a private message. You don't have to include anything else but that wall.
Also, I noticed that the file is V9 in BIM 360 Docs. Has the representation been always like this or is this something that occurred recently?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,
Bogdan
Hi Bogdan,
The texture has always been like that.
Bug: if a texture that is part of multiple materials or assets, and also one or more of the assets has a rotation applied to the texture, the bim 360 viewer will show all the material textures with or without rotation, but all with the same direction/rotation.
Thanks,
Xavier

Hi @bogdan_ciobanu and @Anonymous ,
I've been having similar texture issues...have you found a solution?
Adam
Hi @Anonymous,
Thank you for your question.
We are still working on this. Our development team has determined that this is actually coming from Revit and works are currently carried out to improve how the textures are exported.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Bogdan
