Project Files not showing up when linking model Revit 2023/BIM360

Trying to link a revit model, but when I access the Project Files folder, no folders are visible.

I have proper permissions for anything -- I can open any of the folders and models in Revit. But none of the folders appear when I'm trying to Link Revit models.

I'm accessing through External Resources > Hub > Project. Everything shows up when I go through the Autodesk Desktop Connector, but I need to live link these models not consume.

What I see when trying to add Revit link:

What I see when going to the project via Revit (can open any of these folders & models)

In Image 1 you should see Autodesk Docs.

Doesn't linking through desktop connector link the published model? I need to live link.

Also just tried linking through Autodesk Docs and it errored out.

I don't use the connector for Revit files. I don't think that is the way you should do it. Sorry but I'm not familiar with all the intricacies. It's the recommended workflow and I've been doing it this way since day one of using BIM 360.

Yeah I'm saying neither method works. I've always used External Resources.

You may be doing the same thing. When I open External Resources, I see Autodesk Docs. Not sure why you don't have it.

Hi

I use External resource AND Autodesk Docs directly.

it looks like you don't have all the permission on folder. it should be at least EDIT for your folder.

I double checked and I already have full control of all folders. Had a team member remove and re-add me to the project as well.

Double check if you have collaboration pro licence and the right Revit version for the project.

Yes, I am able to open any of the models in the project. Just can't link anything.

one last thing: in order to be able to link a central cloud model, your host file must be a cloud shared model (not a drag and drop or manually uploaded file via the web).

Ended up having to just reinstall Revit 2023 and this seemed to fix the issue! Thanks
