Move from 25 users pack to 100 users pack for BIM 360 Docs

Hi all,

I have questions about BIM 360 Docs:

1. If customer is using BIM 360 Docs 25 users pack, and license is going to expire. But they want to move from 25 users pack to 100 users pack (new purchase, not renew). Will all data be lost in this case?

2. If user only view drawing or model, will they have to purchase license? Or they just need the link was sent by Project admin to view?

hi @Anonymous,

I believe your issue was resolved in a support ticket you issued. 

"If the customer keeps the same BIM 360 account, there will be no loss of data and they can just simply upgrade to 100 users. If, however, the data needs to be transferred to a different account they will have to export the data and transfer it subsequently. 

To answer your second question, there is no concept of a free user or a view only users for BIM 360. Normally, if somebody get invited to a BIM 360 project, the inviting party needs to provide a license to the guest. "
