When can we expect free software for students and educators on BIM360?

Thank you for your post. 

Please check the Education page here. Under BIM 360 it reads:

"Autodesk® BIM 360™ has been made available to a few select institutional users to evaluate its use in an academic setting. It is Autodesk’s hope to be able to make Autodesk BIM 360 more widely available to academia, for free through the Education Community in the future. Please check back at a future date".

Where is the list over selected institutes?

I am not so sure that list is public. Technical Support does not have access to it, for example. 

Maybe if you click on the  Contact Us button in the link I sent you and get in touch with the Education Community, they will be able to assist you further.
