Drawing compare with coordinates

When we change the drawingextends off a dwg the BIM360 docs compare does not work anymore.

The drawing compare does not use the coordinates from the drawing. it use the center from the drawing extends.

That is good for layouts and sheets but not for modelspace.

Hi @wim_de_winter

Thank you for your post. My name is Bogdan and I am with Autodesk Technical Support.

When you say Compare is not working, what exactly do you mean?  What happens?

Could you upload a print-screen to help us better understand what is happening?

Thank you!

Best regards,

Bogdan

Hello,

Do you mean the two drawings are not aligned with each other when compared, if the extents are changed?

If so, that is a known limitation at the moment. Currently, you can move one drawing to align them, but you cannot scale it. We plan to provide an option in the future to scale as well.

Hope that helps.
