Desktop Connector Clean Uninstall Left the Program Broken

I ran these steps to uninstall Desktop Connector:
To resolve, perform a clean uninstall/reinstall of Desktop Connector.
- Uninstall the application via the Control Panel
- Once uninstalled, delete the following folders:
- C:\Users\#USERNAME#\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Desktop Connector
- C:\Users\#USERNAME#\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services\DesktopConnector
- Then delete the following registry keys (be advised that it is recommend to first export out or save a copy of the current registry before deleting or modifying any keys):
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER>SOFTWARE>Autodesk>Autodesk Desktop Connector
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Autodesk>Desktop Connector
- After the above items are removed, reboot the computer before reinstalling the application.
The reinstallation appears to have failed as there are no files in the Program Files folder and no icon appears in the hidden files tray. The computer is convinced the program is installed regardless of how many times I try to uninstall it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
