add custom attribute at project level

looks like custom attribute can be added to folders, as high as Plans and/or Project Files, can it be added at project level? what we want to achieve is like CDE 4 States, i.e. WIP, Shared, Published, Archived

Hi @zhounnin,

Thanks for posting your question on Forums.

As for now, it is only possible to create document-related custom attributes in BIM 360 web only.

When it comes to full CDE compatibility, please refer to the upcoming functionality: Common Data Environment (Preview). I think you might find it useful.

Hope it helps!

thanks all for the confirmation.

sounds great that factory is working towards ISO 19650 aligned CDE for BIM 360 Docs!

my guess is that current BIM 360 Docs API cannot add custom attributes at project level, isn't it?

Hi @zhounnin,

Your guess it's correct. As for now, it's not possible to add custom attributes visible in BIM 360 at project level.

Hi @zhounnin

It's not available yet. You have to be patient and wait until it's fully implemented.

thanks bartek, hope we won't have to wait for long time.

just one thing needs to be clarified, is Uniclass 2015 the only supported classification system? we're using or plan to use OmniClass, will OmniClass be supported in the future?
