We only have to upload the model for onsite browsing using an iPad. what is the best procedure?

I uploaded our local .rvt file with all the other .rvt link to bim 360 website.

Using the Upload Linked plan, I uploaded a dozen of .rvt and chose what what the parent .rvt file which is ours.

Now All I can see is my trade and not the other trade such as architecture, structure, etc.

Please help.

Are the files that you are not seeing "Collaborated in the Cloud" or "Saved as Cloud Models"?

We only collaborate within our network and are are not planning to collaborate on the cloud. I just require a solution to be able to see everything all at once on the ipad.

By using BIM 360, you are collaborating in the cloud.

What I mean is that nobody will use the BIM360 rvt file to work with. I just want a solution to be able to see the whole project all at once on the iPad for reference.

I uploaded all the files in document management / Plans / Load files as linked model. (see pic)

Loaded multiple.rvt files, chose the one that was parent.

Now I only see parent.

In Revit, you will only see linked files if they are cloud files. It sounds like your workflow is designed for something else. I could be wrong though. Why don't you try doing one and see if it works?

Is your project hosted on ACC or BIM360? (rhetorical question but makes a difference with apps)

You can access the models via the iPad web browser to view them.

You can download the iPad apps to view the models. The best is to download all of them and test the different results, as these apps and iPads, iPhones and Android all work differently and have been constantly changing over the last ten years on each. My site guys have to "test" it out for each project and device; one app will work with BIM360, not ACC, and the ACC app will only work with ACC, not BIM360, and Apple vs Android and phone vs ipad the same app will produce different results on each system and device, and personal preferences play a part. Yes, it is that confusing, and no point in documentation when updates (changes) are constantly occurring.

You can also export an NWD of the models/floors etc, and host them either on the ACC or BIM360 to be viewed with the apps or browser or upload them to a CDE to download to the iPad and viewed with apps, and this needs to be tested you may have to use the old A360 or Team sites for NWD's and or host files there.
