Processing Failed when uploading PDFs

I'm finding that often when I attempt to upload PDFs to BIM360 Docs I get a message "Processing Failed" and the PDF does not upload, or only puts the name of the PDF onto the system (as can be seen in the images below). Usually if I open the PDF and then print it as another PDF using a PDF printer the "printed" PDF can then be successfully uploaded. Suggestions welcomed.
