We have issues in PDF upload. Extraction takes long time to finish.Files are in Plan & file type is PDF.Please check and advise.

Extraction is finished by 12.20 PM.

It seems too slow. I have more than 1500 files to upload.

We have noticed that one of our dependent services is running slowly, which may result in a delay to document processing operations, including upload, copy, move and make current. Hi @Bnilath,

 

Thanks for sharing the files. I have uploaded the files into another project and cannot reproduce the issue now.

 

On the other hand, the engineering team has identified one server machine that caused the issue and the server is removed from server pool. The team is investigating how to automatically detect the issue and rerun the pdf extraction.

10 minutes ago the engineering team finally identified a clue that caused the extraction failure. I will contact you by private message to collect more information that can help us identify the root cause.

As I mentioned in the private message, please use this workaround: create new title-block template.

We will continue to investigate the root cause on the existing title-block templates.

Hi @Bnilath,

 

As I mentioned in the private message, we are working on a hotfix. Before the hotfix is released, please follow the guidelines:

  1. Don't edit any title-block templates.
  2. If the pdf upload always failed by using an existing title-block template, please try to create a new title-block template and do not edit it.

Hi jason,

 

I can upload PDF files with new template. But there are no option to delete my unwanted title blocks.

 

We are facing some issues now.Please see the below snaps and advise. The drawings are not versioning properly.
