Is it possible to add string operators in titleblock template?

We receive thousands of drawings as a main contractor and we end up processing and uploading all of these files to our CDE. One of the biggest advantages of using BIM360 Docs is automatically capturing the titleblock data. However, most of the times we don't have much influence on how our consultant use the space in the titleblock area and we end up using BIM360 Docs but keep doind the old manual update of the titles:

On our shop drawings we have modified the titleblock template to suit BIM360 capabilities. That is we have moved the tag "Title:" outsite of the title box just above it. But most of the drawings that we do bulk uploads end up being drawings that are incoming and we don't have much influence to tell them how and what to do. Even if we did, this would have cause rework.

One of the probable soolutions to this could be to extend the capabilities of selecting non rectangular regions, or being able to deselect / exclude a rectangular portion like the upper left corner. Or else, have an options to add many strings into one attribute like "string1" + "string2"

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for your feedback. Currently, the Title block OCR only supports a simple rectangle shape; I will log a ticket about your feedback and pass to the product team for future improvement.

If you have any feedback that you would like to submit regarding any enhancement, please click on the “BIM 360 IdeaStation” link on the BIM 360 community home page. This will help the Project Manager and developers hear your voice on any changes/concerns with functionality directly for consideration in future builds.

Thank you and have a great day!

Zijing
