Download a large set of files from BIM

Hi Autodesk fanatics,

I am working on a project with a BIM360 database of around 650.000 documents. I have a separate excel file with filenames that have been uploaded to BIM. I need to download these files from BIM. However, it is impossible to individually select all these files by hand as this is just too much work (5000 documents). Therefore, is there a way in which I can upload a set of file names that match with the filenames in BIM, so that BIM will then download, or put these files in a separate folder or something like that?

In short: I have a large list of files that I need to download from BIM. Selecting these files individually is too much work. What would be a good solution here?

Hi Ruben.

Have you tried the search option? Search a particular tag or attribute on the document. Then with them listed you could create a transmittal or just download.

Thanks for your answer. If i use the search option, wouldn't I need to search every document individually? I have a list of document names that I want to download in 1 go. This is a list of around 5000 documents. Therefore, searching every document won't work.

Is there a way to upload this list and then downloading, or moving these files in a folder?
