Bridge Minimum Revit Version

I have seen conflicting information as to the minimum Revit version required to bridge a workshared project file to another project.

What's the minimum? or at the very least, what is oldest Revit version model you have bridged?

Everything that I've read and testing suggests that it's 2023.1.

I have confirmed one currently active 2021 project that is being bridged. So at least 2021 I guess..

I think I understand what you're asking now.

I believe that a project that has Revit files of any version can be Bridge to another. The Docs Bridge has no version limitations.

But previously when a Revit file was bridged into another project, that receiving project couldn't then link the bridged model.

I understand that Revit 2023.1 models that are bridged can now be linked into that receiving project's model, thereby allowing a full workflow.

Currently we have a bridged 2021 project, with folder automations that send our workshared model to the host project, and the other trade models get sent from the host project to our project. 

We work in our model that's in our companies ACC project, and link the other trade models received in our project through the bridge to our model, in our project.

I did read those threads you linked before creating this post, which led me to believe that our workflow that I just described would not work.

I was unable to link a bridged 2022 project into 2022. 

2023 works.
