BIM360 File Upload issue

We have created a stand-alone application to upload dwg and pdf files into BIM360 Docs account, using BIM360 API.

When we upload file in our BIM360 docs account, it' works fine. The file is upload perfectly and we can also view the file in BIM360 Docs account.

But, in one of our client we are facing an issue that after upload file, the file is broken. we have created both accounts with the same procedure.

Could you please guide us, what causes this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @info,

Please share the following information to facilitate our investigation.

  1. When your client experience the broken file issue after uploading from your application, are you able manually upload the same file through Docs web? If yes, is it extracted successfully?
  2. Does you client experience the broken file issue consistently or randomly?
  3. Are you able to reproduce the issue by using Postman? Note: If it can be reproduced by Postman, we can scope out the possibility of Forge API SDK issue.

Thanks and best regards,

Hi,

Here, is the information for an investigation,

1. Yes, we are able to upload a file manually. And yes it is extracted successfully.
2. Yes, our client faces this issue constantly.
3. We have created all API in Postman first than implement it into our application. And also this API is working fine in other accounts.

Thank You

Hi @info,

Could you please send me a private message and share the following information?

1. One document urn that is uploaded by your client and displays as extraction failed on Docs web.

2. The project ID of above document

3. The postman scripts that can reproduce the issue or the whole payload of last Upload API invocation.

Thanks and best regards,
