In the new Autodesk Docs, am I correct in that the Title Block feature for PDF OCR is not included?

OCR is done when publishing the documents and not on upload

The online help also refers to having a Publish button, but I do not appear to have that in my interface. Have you got a screenshot you can share?

You need to select a pick box for the publish option to appear.

Hmm, I don't appear to be getting the same experience. It doesn't look like my UI is updating in the For the Field section of Files. And I'm not aware of any Project settings that may be affecting it.

No wonder I am having issues.

I believe Autodesk is forcing us to purchase the Autodesk Build product in order to see the Publish button that is being referenced. This is a BIG disappointment. Our firm has been using BIM 360 Design and Docs since it replaced Teams. We have created a workflow inhouse as well as out of house with our consultants and clients using the publish tool within the Plans area of Docs to help our teams navigate the drawings sets from conceptual to construction. (this feature is not included in the Project Files area unfortunately). Now it seems we no longer have this function with Autodesk Docs. Because of this change we have decided to continue all projects on the BIM 360 UI. We figure we will change with the Revit Version is no longer supported under BIM 360 and Autodesk forces us to the Construction Cloud, similar to Teams and BIM 360 in 2018....

Autodesk, please fix.

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply. To confirm, you too do not have a Build license/entitlement active on your ACC project?

If this is the case, then yes this needs to be in ADSK Docs, as title block metadata extraction is a vital part of any DMS process, which includes design.

Ha! Funny you should ask. I do have one license of BIM 360 Build. We wanted to test the Meetings tools and possibly use the Checklist tool to help with Design process and workflows... As of today though it has not been changed to Autodesk Build, similar to BIM 360 Design changing to Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro. (Geez). So in short I do not have access to the Autodesk Build product to test how the new ACC products work together.

Once good thing that has been added from BIM 360 Build to the Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro was the Meetings. Go figure.

Talking to my reseller, Autodesk does plan to provide Autodesk Build when it is renewed? Not sure what that means. Even our resellers have little information on the new products. We all learn together I guess the hard way, again. (Forest Gump).

Just stumbled on this as I was looking for the same thing. Cant believe it doesn't seem to be available, yet is within B360 Docs. It seems lots of things about ACC are a backwards step so agree it is needed in Docs.
I'm also struggling in that shouldn't there be a dedicated ACC forum? It's confusing enough with the two products being similar/different as it is, never mind having to use the B360 forum to help blur that difference.

This is super annoying not having the OCR functionality in Autodesk Docs.

I have created a new Idea.
