Visibility and functionality for ipads

Visibility and functionality for ipads

Hi,

ive used BIM 360 on one project, and CxAlloy on one project, and have found that bim 360 has a far more difficult interface, less visibility, and much less intuitive controls. I would recommend you look at CxAlloy for the better visibility, from the dashboard, to the lists, etc. Doing a side-by-side, bim takes more actions and has less information available on screen.

The issues I’m dealing with today on the iPad include not being able to find equipment I know is in the system, download displays as complete but is still running, and navigation is limited.

Unfortunately it it looks like this is only going to be posted to the community, and not to autodesk. But I think bim needs to go back to the drawing board. Compare to CxAlloy. This product is hugely cumbersome and not user friendly.

Thanks.

I have gotten the same feedback from my field staff who have used both.  CX Alloy has  a nice product and they made things visible and easy.

It is a Field Management Competitor for sure.
