After opening a Revit or DWG file, one can use the model browser to search for objects.
For example I can select in the model browser a Revit structural framing type to select all objects from this particular type. But I can not see how many objects that are found. We need this information during model checking. Also our project leaders need this information to quickly and visually check quantities.
