The security settings and roles within BIM360 are not granular enough and haven't been thought through. A basic tenant of security is to only allow a user access to that which they *minimally* need to complete a task. One common shortcut I see and have to constantly fight by hub members is the desire to view company members associated with a team or discipline folder. The minimum necessary right to accomplish this is Folder Control. Providing a hub member Folder Control allows far too many rights and quickly breaks down the ability of an organization to control and protect content as well as increasing administrative time. There should be the ability to create a custom permission that allows View+Download+Edit along with the ability to read permissions on Document Management folders. Often I receive requests by outside Hub members who desire to see and perhaps add members to a folder. There needs to be a better solution to this.
