USER DIRECTORY FOR ALL "360"

I really wish we would have had ONE page like the 360 FIELD Admin.....

A company Directory. Followed by a User directory....then Access or invite options to the 360 Platfrom (Glue,Field,DOC,A360)

Imagine....my dillema... . 65 projects....6-8 subs....4-5 Users per Company, the project team, the Owners, and the Design Team.

65*60 - 4k users.....

I would potentially need staff to manage this..and going to each site for different "360" products does not help.....

As a User its really frustrating to continue to invest and buy into the "360" Platfrom. The more and more products come out the more i start to question its ability or Autodesk's Investment into making a product that is integrated and seamless. 

I have Links for A360, now 360 DOCS, 360 FIELD, 360 GLUE, then I got the 360 Accounts page which seems integrated but then I have differene links that direct me to diferent Admin Pages.... By now I would have guessed Autodesk would have invested into a Infrastructure that handles all users and data access for "360". 

Every time i have to Invite a user....i have to login to each different portal and add users. Not to mention that I need to Type each email...Each time...I have all my project's users in EXCEL still for god sake...Come on!

After opening Docs this morning, this is the bit which has me scratching my head at the moment.

There seems to be many locations now to store Revit and PDF files, with no integration between the 360 services.

I was of the understanding that A360 was going to be the Autodesk cloud platform upon which all these other 360 services would be integrated and work together without having to duplicate data.

Tell me about it. I was just as dissapointed. It does nothing more than what A360 Currently does. Hell I get to view 3d models in A360. I find it more valuable..... I thought they would implement the dxf and data would be integrated to the set possibly.. IDK

I started a general Docs discussion over on the A360 forum. Docs so far is proving to be a very weird decision indeed.

Hello mossbim,

Thank you for your input on user management.   We continue to work to integrate the BIM 360 products and user management.  

We recently integrated BIM 360 Glue into BIM 360 Account Administration (aka HQ).   Many, but not all Glue customers have been migrated into HQ.  With Field, Glue, Plan, and Docs under HQ, now you can have one common User Directory in HQ.  Then when you add users to a project in any service like Glue or Docs, you can type ahead and their email should appear and you can select it.

We are also looking into a more consolidated approach to project administration which should improve this more in the future.

We understand your desire for our products and services to become more integrated and we are committed to that goal.

Plus on doc's the users have to accept the invite before you can add them to folders and etc (unless you use the group).  Which is totally different than the rest of the autodesk products (buzzsaw, field, and etc) - where you can add a user and then start adding them to things and etc and they don't have to accept the invite.
