Update Document Name

If you change or edit the "Number" or "Title" column it doesn't automatically update / change the Document Name.  It looks like once you do the initial upload the only way to change is delete the sheet and start again.  Kinda doesn't make sense then you are able to edit the "Number" or "Title" because it really doesn't do much because the document name is what is sent to the iPad / iPhone.  We need flexibility to change names and those updates end up going to the iPad / iPhone.

Recently experienced the same thing. This is very frustrating. I tried everything I could to get Docs to rerun the naming process. I added an attribute to the title block hoping this would trigger it to rerun the naming process. Unfortunately like you suggested editing the title block does nothing to the plans that are already been processed so in the event that you made a mistake there appears to be no way to correct the mistake unless delete the files and re-upload them. Also note that the attribute I added never showed up in the column either because the process was never rerun.

The name needs to be modifiable, and there should be a choice about what the name is (might not be the number), especially until options are added to ensure that sheets sort in the order they are issued.  For now, I'd like the name to be prefixed with an number that gets the sheets to sort correctly, but it isn't an option to do that and have an accurate number field.

So Autodesk has been working on this since 2016? It's now the end of 2020. Wow.

We experienced this as we were working with a drawing set where the consultant had a 'difficult' numbering and naming convention.  We decided to revise our drawing numbers to better handle our document control but found that we cannot update the drawing names.  We're several versions in so reuploading sheets is really not an option.

Deleting a page and uploading really isn't an option when your first upload error wasn't caught as it would require one to do the same for all subsequent versions. Even deleting a new version and replacing is a difficult and painful process. Is there an ETA on when this will be fixed?
