Project Contact List

Project Contact List

From the Home screen, add a tile showing all project members, their company, roles and email.

This gives all team members a point of contact for coordination and lets all teams know if they need to bring in additional members. Obviously this tile should be visible by choice if a project has teams/companies that Admin may not want made aware of.

As an account Admin I can view all members of a project, however my company (an MEP firm) often gets invited to collaborate on the Architects BIM 360 site. A lot of time is spent requesting project access for members that may already have access, a contact list would change that. Also just knowing who i can delegate tasks to based on who has access.

In addition to adding a BIM 360 Project Contact List for all project members to access, it would be beneficial to have the ability to email the entire project team, or even an entire company/role straight from the BIM 360 Project page.

UPDATE, I came up with a workflow that does the job. As an account admin I can export the entire data base of members on all BIM 360 projects to Excel. With this list includes the projects associated to each member. In excel you can filter by a specific project. Create a new spreadsheet and copy all team members from the filtered list into new spreadsheet. Save the new excel file up to the BIM 360 project and copy paste the URL into a BIM 360 Design Card. Set the Card to display at the project home page.

This is a lengthy process, only account admins can do it, project admins can't. Every time a new member is added the spreadsheet needs to get updates manually.

Not my idea of a good workflow but it's better then nothing.
