Notification Center

Notification Center

Add Notification Center as a module. By adding a notification center you no longer need to get notified via e-mail, and you don't fill up your inbox. To keep the notifications within the platform instead of e-mail is a highly requested feature.

I think it would be nice for each user to have this as an option, on a project by project basis.  Some users would likely prefer the emails as a reminder.  Also, BIM Mangers that would likely be listed as project admins in all of their office projects, they may not want notifications when issues or RFI's are assigned to their company.  just my thought on this.

Agreed that this is a feature that is required. I think it would be better as a 'pane' on the right-hand side of the screen that can be expanded/hidden by the member. If it was a separate module it would mean having to navigate away from what was being looked at the time which would be far far from ideal.

It would also be very helpful if the notifications could auto refresh, acting as a 'real time' update of what is happening in the project, whilst being able to continue working on tasks.

I like this idea, I would prefer to have the notification center at a level above project-level so that I can get a quick summary/update of all my projects.

Leveraging in app push notifications in lieu of emails (or allowing account admins to pick/choose how notifications are sent) is huge.  I'm all for making sure people are notified of issues but if you have 100's of emails and no way to prioritize/organize then it's the same as not sending any notifications at all.

A single dashboard on the home page like what @swefre drew would be great.  The key thing here is if you make it visual based that you're able to tap on a graph/visual and drill into the items that are contributing to those metrics.

Instead of having Notification Center as a module, place the Notification Center icon next to "Help" and "Profile".

-Add the ability to choose between viewing notification for current selected project or all projects.

-Add the ability to select statuses "Read"/"Unread" of a notification.

Kind regards, Fredrik

Nice idea

In general, our company would like to maintain notification settings on hub level.

For example: our users would like to disable "...has added you to project XYZ" on hub level.

Interesting to hear more what direction BIM will take in terms of notifications in general.

Thanks

Receiving a lock screen notification on the phone or/and tablet (e.g. for a new issue or an issue change).

I love the idea. The best would be to work only in bim360.

I would prefer to get one icon for notifoications in the project I am currently working in and one icon for other projects I am in. And get rid of all the E-mails. MAYBE one e-mail a week with a summary with everything in all projects at the most.
