I would love to see some developments around how we can communicate with individuals set up on a project(s) on Docs.
We have a number of projects set up on Docs and have developed our own procedure and training resources to ensure each project is delivered consistently. I have developed a communications plan and going forward intend on sending monthly newsletters to individuals using Docs.
Recently I have tried generating a list of users from Docs. This was an onerous task and it was not easy for me to extract a list of contacts. It would be great if a communications module or add in to the project/account admin module could be developed to enable administrators to simply and quickly send communications out to project team members. Maybe there could be different levels to this- i.e. Account Admins could communicate with everyone on selected projects (i.e. select all or a number of projects) or Account Admins/Project Admins could communicate with individuals for a particular project. It could be quite simple to start with, similar to that of sharing documents/drawings in Docs (i.e. sending an email from within Docs), but maybe with the option to append attachments.
