Today issues and markups are treated separately which is unfurtunate. Please add one of following options:
1) Make markup an issue attribute. No more standalone markups.
2) Add the ability to assign/link a markup to an issue.
Additional features:
A) Give the markup the same color as the status of the issue (perhaps you do want this to be optional).
B) When filtering issues, you also filter out corresponding markups.
Why?
Markups have none or few attributes that can be used when searching/sorting/filtering.
Markups are often used for clarifying and highlighting issues.
