Make Desktop Connected files visible

Team autodesk,

I want to be able to publish sheets with desktop connected models and see at least the linework on my sheet.  Currently I'm working on jobs where say the architect and structure are not using Bim360 design but the MEP teams are.  I really need to print these drawings onto our BIM360 workflow.

Current workaround is to export to dwfx and upload these into BIM360 which is a total pain in the a**.

You have to accept that we are always going to get some form of model externally (say a steel model) and whilst I can accept it might not be visible (or properties showing) I still need to see it.   Can you just allow the desktop connected links to print as a raster???

If you fix this, I would be forever greatful.

Agreed!

I'd like to link files into my Cloud Worksahered model via desktop connector. - As I am able to drag and drop new files to BIM 360 this way and they version up, but the original link is maintained. My current workflow needs me to open the "link" model save it with a different name (I use date in the name to identify it,) initiate cloud work-sharing, saving it to the cloud, and then relinking it in the host model (via external references, not desktop connector.) - this takes a long time and often breaks dimensions etc.
