Locking of issue numbers
Right now users can change the issue number...even though the admin can set up to be consecutive or initial then a number...it would be great to be able to lock down and the users has to follow this ... Plus one less field to deal with and modify and streamline data entry because that number is just a control number.
Great suggestion! We need this - if the field is editable, then people will edit it. We advise users not to change this field, but they are and we are running into problems with duplicate issue numbers.
We would love ID fields in all the modules to be locked.
This is a great suggestion. Would like to see a similar function on checklists and equipment too. Let project admins set the names and then lock them so they don't get messed up by users.
