Issues associated with modeled object

I wish that you could actually select objects in the Revit models, and have issues be associated to that object. Does not matter if it comes from a 3D view or sheet. The issue should also be aware of what the properties of that object are and display them within the issue card.

this is a great idea that our teams were also requesting. In addition a several of our users in our company wanted to be able to mark (highlight by color coding) elements as part of the 3D markup process. and keep navigating, rotating the model while not losing the highlighted or color coded elements. 

In other words, color code 3d objects as part of the markups.

Great idea! for the integration with issues in BIM 360 and the first steps made in Navisworks.

object relation is a must have to build a lifecycle around issues and objects back to Revit.

proces:

1. open BIM 360 large model viewer (Engineer sees something that is incorrect)

2. Select the object 

3. make an issue

4. Object is picked up by Revit Modeller

5. Revit modeller changes the object

6. Publishes a new version to BIM 360

7. Engineer grabs the issue and object it in Naviswoks for clash control

8. Sees that the object is moved and is good.

9. Engineer closes the issue from Navisworks

that's the process we have in mind! and the strength of BIM 360 and Desktop solution!
