The new 'Issue Thumbnail' feature seems a little detached from the Issue itself.
The 'Issue' Activity log is meant to, and does record all activity including status, assignee, category, reference changes etc, but seemingly not this new thumbnail. It doesn't track when one was added, updated, mark-up added etc.
This visual aid is an important part of the auditability yet there is no date marker on the thumbnail itself or within the activity log. As a minimum this should be recorded.
Ideally I would like this to go another step, recording and storing each thumbnail separately within the log itslef, rather than the image being replaced every time. Again, auditability to track progress. Or allow pasting of images within the comments to achieve both.
