File Extensions
Provide file extensions; like any other program so that DWGs can be differentiated between NWCs, etc. I don't understand why you would possibly want to strip the extensions from the file name???
I agree. Also it gets messy with subs when multiple employees from different projects upload diff file types. Annoying to have to delete and have them reupload.
On February 27, we released an update to the Glue web access, including file extension display. We intend, in the coming months, to continue to add more capabilities to Glue web access (for all user types). Please check out our progress here: https://b2.autodesk.com. Here's a screenshot (note the file extension display and also the file name search).
I do see the file extensions and the new search box. Thumbs up on that!
However, I do not see the option to view these files in a 'list' format nor did I see the folder structure normally expected when drilling down into the individual models tab.
Where is the list view? If the list view has been removed this is a big fail, BIG FAIL! It's bad enough that the screen doesn't fully expand to a 'full screen' view which makes sizing the columns of information difficult - you have to hide some to see others...but to eliminate the list view is a fail of epic proportion. Without it I guess I'm expected to browse through all these images to find what I'm looking for??? Please advise.
