Export the BIM 360 Doc Transmittal list

We expecting the Transmittal List export tools in BIM 360 in excel format.

  • Export BIM 360 transmittal data in excel.
  • Also, how to know the latest version files are transmitted or nor.

Really needed functionality.

As a Document Controller, i feel without this report (excel) the software is not addressing my minimum requirements since the only way to see what has been transmitted is on screen.

That report could include the number of files transmitted and a link (same as the Report from documents) that takes you to the package to view details

NO export function (add to that no Search function, or Settings/Cust Attributes) is baffling 😕

Thank you for the feedback, we will add this for future consideration.

So many requests to add an export function to reviews and transmittal tabs... Unbelievable!!!, why this simple function is taking so much time ???

Hi, we will add it for future consideration. But I am afraid I don't have any timeline to share for now.

As you are unable to print a transmittal (including the drawing description and revision, not currently shown on the transmittal screen) you have to manually create an issue sheet for hard copy drawings with the same information on - this is working harder, not smarter

Also can you select a drawing number and identify what transmittals it has been included on and at what revision ?

Hi There,
Are you really saying I cannot export the transmittal lists to create an issue sheet?!

Thanks

This feature is strongly needed, it's a basic requirement, see other CDEs where this is easily featured as a fundamental requirement for Document Controllers. Many thanks for the consideration.

Having tracking logs available at a click for our BIM360 Transmittals is something our team needs as a manditory. We would really love to see this software update happen sooner rather than later.

Agreed with @Anonymous it has been a while waiting for this development.  Any expected day?

Is there any update on this issue? This is an important functionality that Autodesk needs to prioritize. I see no reason why it would be impossible to downloaded an excel format of the transmittal or a pdf at least. Also, a drawing register for all issued drawings would be great. It is a task having to manually create a register and update it each time a drawing is issued. @penny_yu please let us know when there are any new developments on this.

I stand in agreement with Victoria, this is a crucial function of our day-to-day construction administration process. @penny.yu would greatly appreciate your help.

Hello Everyone,

There is a workaround workflow by using the Data Connector Extracted excel sheets and linking these sheets to extract the information that you are looking for (Drawing, Description, Sender, Receiver, Transmittal name,.....).

I know it is not that out of the box solution, but you can use it.
