Delete Reports

It should be possible to delete reports in the Insight module > Reports tab. Now in our report list we have a lot of reports that are created by accident or created by test. We want to clean up this list keeping only the reports that are really relevant for the project.

Hi Johan,

Thanks for bringing this up. Definitely something we are considering adding in future releases.  I would love to understand a little better of your requirement here. 1. Were you trying to delete/cleanup reports under the Recent tab or Saved tab? 2. When "deleting" them, would you expect to be able to retrieve them?

Thanks for the follow up. We want to clean up the report list in both the Recent and Saved tab. In both tabs reports were created as a try out, by accident or are not relevant any more. But most importantly we want to clean up the reports in the recent tab.

It should be nice if there was a kind of recycle bin of reports but that is not that important in a first stage. Also when you plan to provide a recycle bin environment there also must be an option in there to permanently delete entries to be sure that there are really deleted from the servers. This is a strict demand from customer working in the bank and military sectors and customers working on highly secured technology/science projects.

I think this is a general concern within all of BIM 360. Being able to delete unwanted reports, issues, reviews, etc.

It would also be great if we could have a 'Preview' option before we generate the report

Hi Johan, 

I am pleased to report you can now delete Saved reports from within Insight > Reports > Saved > ... > Delete

Report deletion is not available in Recent reports tab, as this tab contains a rolling list of report from past 30 days.

@krystian.macek I would really like a 'multi-select' option to delete multiple reports instead of doing this one by one.

It would be very helpful to have the ability to delete reports from the reports log in Build. We end up with numerous "test" reports and voided reports in the reports log and would prefer to be able to delete or at least hide these. I am told that Plangrid had draft reports, and our users miss this feature in ACC.

I can't find the delete option from the insight.

Could someone assist me in how to erase reports?
